He is a happily married gay man and at times may reference his husband. He's married in his canon to Teldryn Sero, and if that makes things awkward in your personal canon, let me know - but it's something that really can't be changed about his character development, as Teldryn plays a large role in his journey.                               Important Story Information07                 Ari does the Dragonborn DLC before the main questline. This is integral to his character. He does not do the Dawnguard DLC, so any muses from that will be unfamiliar to him, but very welcome to interact!08                 Ari also does not do the standard Blades questline - he instead comes to an understanding with Delphine, refuses to kill Paarthurnax, and brings more dragons into the Blades to serve as protectors when they agree to learn from Paarthurnax.09                 In fact, Ari's Blades serve a different purpose than the standard Blades - they become more of a neutral group of protectors for Tamriel as opposed to serving the Emperor.10                 Many parts of Ari's overall storyline change canon due to the influence of him being an ex-Thalmor dragonborn. If there are specific things you're curious about and want to see how we can wiggle canon around, tell me, and I'll be more than happy to figure things out!11                 Basically, just follow basic rp etiquette ( like no godmodding, don't change my muse, that kind of deal ) and we're good! I'm pretty laid-back, really.

Ariquar — the last Dragonborn, former justiciar-in-training to the Aldmeri Dominion, son of Vaelcelmo of Shimmerene, Grandmaster of the Blades.Hermaeus Mora’s unwilling champion.Coming from a beginning of nobility and a life of constant pampering and tutoring, he lives his days now traveling Skyrim’s many winding roads, slaying belligerent dragons and forming allyships with ones willing to learn and change as he has. Much of his life is defined by growth and change, and he wishes to offer that experience to anyone willing to learn.

The tldr of Ari’s story: he used to be a petty nobleman Thalmor wizard, realized he was headed down a path of extreme hubris when he met Miraak, and made the active decision to become a better person. He does not follow the main storyline exactly — he does the Dragonborn DLC before the main quest. After coming to terms with his place as Dragonborn, he becomes much more gentle and humble.Also, he helps stop the war in Skyrim by giving Ulfric an existential crisis, gets his old boss exiled from the Thalmor, and takes over the Blades without killing Paarthurnax. This is all part of the weird worldbuilding I've done with him over the last decade.
